Blue Raiders earn first top-25 win since 2010 defeating No. 25 Auburn on Thursday

AUBURN, Ala. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team defeated No. 25 Auburn for their first top-25 win since 2010 to begin play at the Tiger Invitational on Thursday. The Blue Raiders fell in the first set before winning three-straight to win in four sets.
Head coach Chuck Crawford first win against his former team where he spent three seasons before coming to MTSU.
The Blue Raiders (3-3, 0-0 CUSA) the No. 25 Auburn Tigers (5-1, 0-0 SEC) with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-23 and 25-22. The Tigers took the first set. MTSU dominated in the second and fought back to win the third. The Blue Raiders finished off the Tigers in the fourth.
Senior Taylor Eisert tallied her first double-double of the season with 44 assists and 13 digs. Eisert tallied three aces and assists. Graduate student Kayla Henley lead the team in 15 kills with on a .355 hitting percentage and two aces. Graduate student Dasia Smith recorded seven kills on .462 hitting percentage. Graduate student Kaylee Oscarson had seven kills on a .333 hitting percentage.

44: Eisert recorded a double-double with 44 assists and 13 digs. She added three aces and assists as well.
.462: Smith had a hitting percentage of .462.
15: Henley led the team with 15 kills as well as a .355 hitting percentage and two aces.
