Track and Field travels to Ann Arbor for Michigan Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee will continue the indoor track and field season this weekend on Saturday, January 13 at the Michigan Invitational. The meet will be in Ann Arbor, Mich. at the Stephen M. Ross Athletics South Competition and Performance Center starting at 11:00 a.m. CT.

Men's Top Performances
· Freshman John Sherman took first in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.38s.
· Sherman also took home first place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.52s.
Women's Top Performances
· Leonie Beu won the women's 400-meter dash with a time of 60.00s.
· In the 55-meter hurdles, Tamia Waters ran an 8.23s time for second place.
· Lyn'Nikka Vance finished second in the women's 55-meter dash with a 7.15s time.
· Freshman Lakesha Smith placed first overall in the 200-meter dash with a 25.65s time.
