Johnson Shoots Career-Low on Final Day of Ron Moore Intercollegiate

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – Carding its best round of the tournament, the Middle Tennessee women's golf team completed the Ron Moore Intercollegiate with a 297 (-1) on round three to finish at 880 (+16), good for 12th place.
Nicole Johnson and Abbie Lee led the team on the final round, both finishing at 217 (+1) overall, T22 individually. Johnson shot a career low, tying for the lowest round by a Blue Raider this season, carding a 69 (-3). Sinking in five birdies and avoiding big numbers, the sophomore finished the tournament strong for her best finish of the season.
Lee was the lowest Blue Raider for the first time during the fall campaign, with two rounds below par in Colorado. She shot three birdies on the front nine with no bogeys and another birdie on hole 18 to finish at 71 (-1) on the day.
Kendall Maynard wrapped up the tournament with a better finish than the last, sitting at T54 after the three rounds. She shot a 75 (+3) on the final round, carding a 225 (+9) overall, improving by two shots compared to the Mason Rudolph Championship.
After a difficult opening two rounds, Lanie Campbell rebounded tremendously, notching her second round at par-or-better on the season, turning in a 72 (E) in the final day of competition. Her last 18 holes of the tournament were clean and consistent, dropping in two birdies and two bogey holes to shoot up 12 spots on the leaderboard to T59.
Ella Manley completed the tournament in 72nd place, carding an 81 (+9) on round three. She tallied two birdies but ran into bogey trouble towards the end of the day.

- UNLV won the team trophy, finishing at 847 (-17) through the three days of competition.
- Isabella McCauley of Minnesota was the individual champion, carding a 202 (-14) overall.
