KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee is set to take on the Tennessee Lady Volunteers on Tuesday, November 12, at 5:30 p.m. (CT) at Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CT. The game will air on the Blue Raider Network and broadcast on SECN+.

SERIES HISTORY
» This marks the 17th meeting in series history between the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders and Tennessee Lady Vols.
» Tennessee owns a 15-1 lead over MTSU in the all-time series.
» The Blue Raiders won previous meeting 73-62 in Huntsville, Alabama on Dec. 6, 2023. Jalynn Gregory scored a team high 22 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steal against Tennessee, while Anastasiia Boldyreva tallied 17 points, nine rebounds, seven blocks and three assists.With the win, MTSU spoiled Tennessee's 17-game win streak against in-state opponents.

» Middle Tennessee will take on Tennessee on Friday, Nov. 12, at 5:30 p.m. (CT) at Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center.
» This will mark the Blue Raiders' eighth trip to Knoxville in program history.
» Middle Tennessee is coming off of a 57-47 win over Grand Canyon in the first of two CUSA/WAC scheduling initiative games – both teams are preseason favorites to win their respective leagues.
» The Blue Raiders have picked up 42 wins over current Power-4 teams under Coach Insell.
» MTSU has enjoyed great success on the road under Coach Insell. The Blue Raiders are 172-88 overall on the road under Insell, for a 66 percent winning ledger.
» The Blue Raiders return 10 players, including three starters, from the 2023-24 squad that went 30-5 and won the CUSA regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.
» Middle Tennessee will play a tough non-conference slate highlighted neutral sites matchups with Iowa State, Kansas State and Purdue, and a trip down I-40 to take on the Tennessee Lady Vols. The Blue Raiders will face eight teams that finished in the top 150 of the NET Rankings last season, including seven that finished in the top 100 and four that finished in the top 40 before heading into league play.
» Head CoachvRick Insell has led the Lady Raiders to 19 consecutive post-seasons. He has tallied a 465-156 record at his alma mater.
SCOUTING THE LADY VOLS
» Kim Caldwell was announced as Tennessee's new head coach on April 7, 2024, becoming the fourth leader of the Lady Vols during the NCAA era.
» Caldwell is in her ninth season as a head coach with an overall record of 219-31 (.876), including 149-13 (.920) in conference games. She is 2-0 in 2024-25.
» OBSESSED WITH O-BOARDS: The Lady Vols have been the nation's best team at going to the offensive glass thus far. Tennessee ranks No. 1 at 27.0 o-boards per game through Nov. 10.
» FORCING MISCUES: Tennessee has caused its opponents to commit 68 turnovers in two games. That average of 34.0 miscues per contest ranks the Lady Vols No. 5 nationally. Even better, UT's 22.5 steals per game rate No. 1 in the country.
» HIGH-FLYING LADY VOLS: Tennessee is averaging 95.5 points per game, which ranks No. 20 nationally. UT's two-game total of 191 points to open a season ranks fourth best in program history.
» BENCH BRIGADE: In a system with frequent substitution where who starts and who doesn't really isn't as big of a deal, there's no question it's working from the perspective of reserves' productivity. The Lady Vols rank No. 10 nationally in bench points per game, tallying 45.0 per contest.
» SHOOT YOUR SHOT: The Lady Vols rank No. 5 nationally in three-pointers attempted per game at 36.5. They set the program record with 39 tries vs. UT Martin.
