We've got lots of MTSU Athletics news to jump into today, but I wanted to take a beat at the top to make sure we highlighted those who served who we honor on this annual bank holiday. Now, for where you can watch the Blue Raiders this week!

Men's Basketball prepares for pair of home matchups this week in the Glass House
Middle Tennessee men's basketball returned home to Murfreesboro on Sunday after routing Abilene Christian by 23 points on the road. This week, the Blue Raiders prep for two home games in the Glass House.
Wednesday night, MTSU welcomes Evansville to the Murphy Center for a 6:30 p.m. tipoff. And on Saturday, the Blue Raiders welcome the Racers of Murray State, the team MTSU has played the most in their program's history, for 3 p.m. tipoff.
Fans arriving early to Wednesday night's game will have a chance to receive a clear bag during that game's giveaway. Saturday afternoon is the program's "Tees for 3's" game, where each MTSU three-pointer will result in a t-shirt being tossed in the crowd.
Check out highlights from Jestin Porter's 24-point night on Saturday and come out to cheer on the Blue Raiders!

Chase Miller Supports Build Blue Campaign with seven-figure gift
Former Blue Raider basketball player Chase Miller has pledged a seven-figure donation to the Build Blue Campaign, MTSU Athletics and the Blue Raider Athletic Association announced Monday.
This donation is Miller's second major contribution to Build Blue, the $100+ million campaign to transform MTSU's athletic facilities, following his six-figure gift in 2022.
In honor of his latest gift, the eighth seven-figure commitment secured to date in the campaign, the practice gymnasium inside the Murphy Center will be known as "Chase Miller Gym." At just 28 years old, he becomes the youngest seven-figure donor since Build Blue's launch in 2021.
Miller, a native of Dallas, Texas, now works in commercial real estate in his hometown. He joined the MTSU basketball team in 2015 and participated in two NCAA Tournaments, an NIT, and a total of 92 wins during his four years in the program.
"I'm so excited to be able to make another contribution to the university, athletic department, and basketball program that means so much to my family and me," Miller said. "The Build Blue Campaign is such a beneficial project for the entire MTSU community, and I wanted to double down on my commitment to making this facility enhancement a reality.
"I can't wait to see the impact that this project will continue to have on current and future Blue Raiders."
Director of Athletics Chris Massaro said Miller was a long-time fan favorite at the Murphy Center, with the chant of "Miller Time! Miller Time!" shouted every time he entered a game.
"I am blown away by Chase's incredible generosity, especially at such a young age," Massaro said. "He poured his heart and soul into MTSU basketball, and I can't think of a better way to honor him than to name the court where he spent countless hours working on his game."

Women's Basketball travels to Knoxville for showdown with Lady Vols
On the heels of gritty 57-47 win over Grand Canyon Friday night, Middle Tennessee women's basketball had a quick turnaround for their next game, heading to Knoxville on Monday for Tuesday night's contest against the Lady Vols.
MTSU defeated Tennessee for the first time in program history last season in Huntsville, Ala., defeating the Lady Vols 73-62 behind Jalynn Gregory's 22 points and Savannah Wheeler's double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds).
Rick Insell had a strong message that his team would be ready to win in Thompson Boling Arena on Tuesday after the Blue Raiders win over GCU: ""Tennessee, they probably won't even look at film of us," Insell said. "One of my friends up there asked them up there, 'What about Middle Tennessee?' I think the response was, 'Well, they've got a decent team, but they haven't faced anybody like us and the way we play.'
"I'm going to tell you something. The game of basketball is over 100 years old, I think 120 years old. You're not going to invent something tomorrow. Everything has already been tried. We know what they're going to do and they probably know what we're going to do, I guess if they scout us."
Fans are also invited to Sunday's game back in the Glass House, where MTSU will take on Alcorn State. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Freshman Andi Spies picked up her fourth CUSA Freshman of the Week award after the Blue Raiders split their weekend series at Kennesaw State this weekend. Her four awards are the most of any CUSA Freshman this season. Spies recorded 76 assists, 19 digs, 15 kills (with a .353 hitting percentage), 10 blocks, and three service aces across the series.
The Fort Atkinson, Wis. native tallied a double-double in both matches, logging 37 assists and 12 digs in the first and 39 assists and 10 kills in the second. In addition to her double-double in the win, Spies contributed seven digs and six blocks.
Soccer makes CUSA Semifinals after dramatic penalty shootout win
A defensive battle gave way to a penalty shootout on Wednesday night in Miami, but the Blue Raiders proved themselves to have the mettle to grit through the most dramatic sequence in soccer: a penalty shootout to advance in a cup tie, knocking off Sam Houston 4-2 in PKs to make the CUSA Tournament semifinals.
Manon Lebargy, the CUSA Midfielder of the Year, took the decisive penalty for MTSU, one that shows why you should always hit your penalty kicks firmly, because often good things can happen. Despite the Bearkat keeper being able to get a glove on the shot, it had enough momentum to break the goal line and push MTSU to the semifinals, where the Blue Raiders lost 2-0 to the eventual CUSA Champions, FIU.
