Al-Amin Prepares for ITA Conference Masters Championships

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee junior Karim Al-Amin has been selected to represent the Blue Raiders in this week's ITA Conference Masters Championships in Rome, Ga. with a chance at qualifying for the NCAA Singles Championships in Waco, Texas on No. 21-24.
Al-Amin is coming off a doubles title alongside fellow Blue Raider junior Ondrej Horak, as well as a third-place finish in the singles bracket, at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals in West Lafayette, Ind. Al-Amin defeated representatives from the University of Tennessee in both the doubles final and the third-place singles match.
Al-Amin will begin his run in the singles bracket tomorrow, as he faces Dayton's Kyle McNally at 8 A.M. CT.
