MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's basketball looks for its fourth straight win Wednesday as it heads to Alabama to take on Jacksonville State. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT from the Pete Mathews Coliseum on ESPN+ and the Blue Raider Network.
The Blue Raiders are fresh off a double overtime victory over UTEP at the Murphy Center on Saturday, fueled by Jestin Porter' 41-point performance. The junior guard set Conference USA and MTSU records by going 8-for-8 from 3-point range. Only five players in the country have scored more points in a game this season than Porter's 41. Jared Coleman-Jones provided 15 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists.
The last time these two teams faced off, Porter put up 30 points and the Blue Raiders led wire-to-wire in a 75-67 victory.

» Jestin Porter set Conference USA and MTSU records by going 8-for-8 from 3-point range in Saturday's double OT win over UTEP. His 41 points are tied for the third-highest single-game total in program history. On Monday he was named CUSA Player of the Week after averaging 33.5 points per game against New Mexico State and UTEP.
» Porter's 41 points are tied for the sixth-highest single-game output by any Division I player this season.
» MTSU improved to 3-1 in overtime games this season with Saturday's win and 3-5 all-time in double overtime. The Blue Raiders' four overtime games are tied for the most since going into OT five times in the 1981-82 season.
