BRAA sets new record for True Blue Give 2024!

Over $319,000 was donated to the BRAA during the university’s annual fundraising drive
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – During this year's True Blue Give, MTSU's annual three-day fundraising campaign, the Blue Raider Athletic Association (BRAA) achieved a new record by raising $319,872 in support of Blue Raider student-athletes.
The $319,872 raised during True Blue Give 2024 surpassed the previous record from 2022 ($206,211) by over $100,000 and more than doubled the average giving during True Blue Give over the most recent five-year period ($137,250).
"Donor support remains more vital than ever in helping MTSU Athletics reach our goals, and our fans showed up in record numbers this year," Director of Athletics Chris Massaro said. "Thank you to all who generously donated to the BRAA to help us continue to create the best possible experience for our student-athletes."
The BRAA received donations from 93 total donors during this year's True Blue Give, and 28 percent of them were new donors to the BRAA. Of the returning donors who renewed their BRAA membership, nearly 20 percent contributed "above and beyond" their membership level from the previous year.
"Thank you to all who stepped up and supported the BRAA during True Blue Give 2024," said Hans Malebranche, Associate AD for Development and Chief Development Officer. "Your generosity will help us continue to achieve our BRAA mission of Building Relationships, Investing in Excellence, and Developing Champions!"
True Blue Give 2024 broke University records as well, raising over $778,000 campus-wide for Middle Tennessee State University, and the support for Blue Raider Athletics played a major role in the overall success. BRAA contributions totaled 41 percent of all the money raised during this year's historic campaign.
