LYNCHBURG, Va. – Middle Tennessee travels to Liberty for its final regular season road trip on Wednesday, March 6. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. The game will air on the Blue Raider Network and broadcast on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY
» This marks just the second meeting in series history between the Middle Tennessee Lady Raiders and Liberty Lady Flames.
» Middle Tennessee owns a 1-0 lead over Liberty in the all-time series.
» MTSU won the previous meeting against Liberty this season 81-55 in Murfreesboro. In a matchup of the top Conference USA post players, Anastasiia Boldyreva got the best of Bella Smuda, helping guide Middle Tennessee to a 26-point win.

» Middle Tennessee clinched the 2023-24 Conference USA Regular Season Title. This marks the second consecutive and 21st overall regular season championship in program history.
» Savannah Wheeler graduated this December with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Integrated Studies and plans to pursue another degree in Health and Human Performance.
» With a pair of triples against GCU, Wheeler became just the 16th player in CUSA history to eclipse 200 career made three-point field goals.
» With four three-point field goals against Sam Houston, Courtney Whitson became the all-time record holder at Middle Tennessee with 260.
» The Lady Raiders are coming off a 93-62 win over Sam Houston. MTSU shot 57. 4 percent on the afternoon and had four players in double figure scoring.
» With five rebounds against FIU, Courtney Whitson joined Ebony Rowe as the only Lady Raiders in program history to eclipse 1,000 career rebounds and 1,000 career points.
» With 18 points against the Miners, Savannah Wheeler became the 10th player in Conference USA history to eclipse 2,000 career points.
» With 13 free throws against the Aggies, Wheeler became the CUSA all-time leader in career free throws made with 579.
» With eight points against the Aggies, Jalynn Gregory became just the 34th Lady Raider to eclipse 1,000 career points.
» With a career-high eight triples against the Gamecocks, Jalynn Gregory became the 17th player in CUSA history to eclipse 200 career made three-pointers. She joins Savannah Wheeler and Courtney Whitson as the only Lady Raiders to accomplish that feat.
» Anastasiia Boldyreva has established herself as one of the top defenders in the nation. She currently leads the league and ranks fifth in the nation with 83 blocks on the season.
» Middle Tennessee became just the 25th school in NCAA Division I women's basketball history and the third in Conference USA to reach 1,000 program wins on Thursday, Nov. 9 when the Lady Raiders defeated the Florida A&M Rattlers 93-48.
» The 2023-24 roster boasts seven international players: Jada Grannum (Canada); Dora Van Rijs (Hungary); Anastasiia Boldyreva, Iullia Grabovskaia and Stanislava Kabernick (Russia); Sifa Ineza (Rwanda); Zahira Arizmendi Rubio(Spain). Entering this season the Lady Raiders have only had 10 international players in program history.
» Head Coach Rick Insell has led the Lady Raiders to 17 consecutive post-seasons. He has tallied a 457-155 record at his alma mater.

SCOUTING THE LADY FLAMES
» The Lady Flames are 9-1 in their last 10 games, with the lone loss coming at Middle Tennessee on Feb. 8 (81-55). Liberty and FIU are currently tied for second place with two games remaining.
» Emma Hess was named CUSA Player of the Week for the first time on Monday. She averaged a team-high 20.5 ppg during Liberty's 2-0 trip to New Mexico State and UTEP and set the program single-season record for three-pointers on Saturday with her 65th triple.
» Coming off a career-high 25-point effort at UTEP on Saturday, Asia Boone earned her program-record ninth CUSA Freshman of the Week honor on Monday (including any conference Liberty has played in).
» Bella Smuda has scored in double figures in 10 straight games and has recorded eight of her conference-leading 14 double-doubles in CUSA play.
» Point guard Jordan Hodges has posted a 54-to-10 assist-to-turnover ratio in the last 10 games, including 14 assists to 0 turnovers during last week's road trip.
» Middle Tennessee assistant coach Kim (Reeves) Brewton played three seasons at Liberty (1997-98 through 1999- 2000). Her final year was Carey Green's first season as head coach.
