RUSTON, La. – Middle Tennessee men's basketball closes its regular season Saturday with Conference USA Championship seeding on the line. The Blue Raiders take on LA Tech, which has the No. 2 seed in the tournament locked up, at 2 p.m. at the Thomas Assembly Center.
A win would secure the No. 4 seed for the Blue Raiders, while a loss could potentially drop them to the No. 8 seed. The Bulldogs could earn a share of the regular season league title with a win and a loss by Sam Houston.
The Blue Raiders are coming off a 69-61 win over Liberty on Tuesday. Elias King led MTSU with 19 points, while Jalen Jordan added 17 and Jared Coleman-Jones picked up his seventh double-double of the year with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
All-Time Against LA Tech
» The Bulldogs lead the all-time series 14-7.
» MTSU has won five of the last eight games between the two teams.

» Jestin Porter is averaging 17.5 points per game in conference play. He set CUSA and MTSU records by going 8-for-8 from 3-point range on Feb. 17 vs. UTEP. His 41 points are tied for the third-highest single-game total in program history. He was named CUSA Player of the Week, TSWA Player of the Week and Oscar Robertson Trophy National Player of the Week after averaging 33.5 points per game against New Mexico State and UTEP.
