Sanga set to compete in NCAA Outdoor Championships

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee will be represented by Purity Sanga at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the Eugene, Ore.
Sanga will compete in the women's 10K race on Thursday night at 10 p.m. CT.
The participants in individual and relay events qualified through competition at first-round sites held May 22-25 in Lexington, Kentucky and Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Last Time Out – NCAA First Round Regional (Lexington)
Sanga qualified in the 10k for the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. after running a program best time of 33:11.98s.
The Kapsabet, Kenya native also qualified for the Cross-Country NCAA Championships in 2023 after winning the Individual Champion at the CUSA Championships. She was named the Female Athlete of the Year at the 2024 Raider's Choice Awards.
