MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — MTSU Athletics welcomes Blue Raiders to Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium for our annual Fan Day on Saturday, August 24. This year's Fan Day is uniting with the University Convocation, an annual event that welcomes students and family members to the University and kicks off the beginning of a new academic year.
The FREE and open-to-the-public event runs from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Fans of all ages are encouraged to dress accordingly to enjoy both wet and dry inflatables. Other returning fan favorites include live music from "The Bizz and Everyday People", face painting, and balloon artistry that will entertain fans on the field. Many of MTSU Athletics' Corporate Sponsors will also be on hand to pass out promotional materials to all.
The Blue Zoo will be on the field to help students claim their mobile tickets and answer questions about Blue Zoo Bash and Family Weekend. MTSU Fraternity and Sorority Life Organizations will be present to educate students on how to get involved.
MTSU Football, Volleyball, Soccer and Cross-Country student athletes will be in attendance to sign autographs. New this year – the Middle Tennessee Dance and Cheer squads will also be signing autographs!
The first 500 fans to enter the stadium will receive a clear Game Day bag for August 31.
Floyd Stadium Clear Bag Policy is below to prepare you for the season:

The Ticket Office, Blue Raider Athletic Association (BRAA) and MTSU Athletics marketing staff will be on hand to answer any questions fans may have about the upcoming season, with plenty of giveaways to go around from all three groups! The 2024-25 Blue Raider Kids Club membership boxes will also be available for pickup.
MTSU Athletics will also have #BLUEnited Yard Signs available for pick up and encourage all MTSU fans to show their Blue Raider pride by placing the signs in their front yard.
For fans looking to restock, or just stock up, on new Blue Raider gear for the upcoming season, Lightning's Locker Room, powered by Textbook Brokers, will be open at their Gate 2 location.
Full of Bologna food truck will be available on the concourse with food for sale. In addition, Sodexo Concessions will have a limited menu available for fans to purchase.
Parking in the Greenland Lot will be limited due to the expected attendance at the University Convocation, which starts at 2 p.m. on August 24 in the Murphy Center. See the map below for alternative on campus parking near Floyd Stadium. Lots that are colored green or yellow will be free for fans.
