MTSU loses 3-0 to Washington in Bozeman, Mont.

BOZEMAN, Mont. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball opened the 2024 season against Washington on Saturday, August 31 in Bozeman, Mont. The Blue Raiders lost the match in three sets with scores of 18-25, 22-25, and 19-25.

The story of the match was the discrepancy in hitting percentage between the two teams. Middle Tennessee (0-1, 0-0) had a hitting percentage of .082% to Washington's (2-0, 0-0) .208%.

Junior Adriana Rhoda led the team with eight kills. In her first match as a Blue Raider, Kiera Booth recorded seven kills with an outstanding .455% hitting percentage. Defensive specialist Alivia Bronner led the team in digs with eight.
