Blue Raiders Conclude Final Day at Miami Invitational

OXFORD, Ohio. – The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team concluded its kickoff to the 2024 fall season today in Oxford, Ohio at the Miami (Ohio) Invite.
The Blue Raiders started off the final day in Oxford with a singles matchup with the Louisville Cardinals. Louisville won four of the six matches in straight sets, with the first and third seeded matchups going into a third set.
Middle Tennessee capped off the weekend tournament with a doubles match against the Xavier Musketeers in the afternoon slate. Xavier took all three of the individual outings by scores of 8-5, 8-6 and 8-3.
Next up for the Blue Raiders is a return trip to Murfreesboro for the ITA Regionals at MTSU on Oct. 10-14 at the MTSU Outdoor Tennis Complex.
