BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Middle Tennessee will make the short drive North to face WKU on Saturday, Jan. 18 at E.A. Diddle Arena. Tipoff is slated for 2 p.m. CT. The game will air on the Blue Raider Network and broadcast on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY
» This marks the 76th meeting in series history between the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders and WKU Hilltoppers.
» The Blue Raiders owns a 43-32 lead over WKU in the all-time series.
» Last season MTSU defeated WKU twice, 80-48 in Murfreesboro – the largest margin of victory in series history – and 59-41 in Bowling Green – to clinch the CUSA Regular Season Title.

» MTSU has enjoyed great success on the road under Head Coach Rick Insell. The Blue Raiders are 175-91 overall on the road under Insell, for a 65 percent winning ledger, and 72-20 on the road in CUSA play
» Head Coach Rick Insell has led the Lady Raiders to 19 consecutive post-seasons. He has tallied a 475-161 record at his alma mater.
» The Blue Raiders lead Conference USA and rank sixth in the Nation in Field Goal Defense. Middle Tennessee is holding it's opponents to just 33.6 percent shooting on the season.
» The Blue Raiders rank 33rd nationally in Free Throw Made per game (14.5) and 55th in Free Throw Attempts per game (19.8). Gregory ranks 27th in the country and leads the league, shooting 89.8 percent from the line.
» The Blue Raiders return 10 players, including three starters, from the 2023-24 squad that went 30-5 and won the CUSA regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.
» The Middle Tennessee women's basketball program will celebrate its 50th varsity season in 2024-25 and is set to honor the program's storied tradition and rich history with various initiatives throughout the year.
SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERS
» WKU enters the week with an 11-5 overall record and is 2-2 in CUSA play.
» The Hilltoppers are coming off of a pair of road wins this past week, defeating Jax State 51-44 and Kennesaw State 72-62.
» Senior guard Alexis Mead leads WKU in scoring with 13.9 points per game. She also leads the team in assists (4.0) and steals (2.9).
» Junior Zsofia Telegdy leads the Hilltoppers in rebounding with 5.4 boards a game.
