KENNESAW, GA. – Middle Tennessee will travel to Kennesaw State for its first Conference USA road match up of the season on Thursday, Jan. 9 at the KSU Convocation Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. The game will air on the Blue Raider Network and broadcast on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY
» This marks the fourth meeting in series history between the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders and Kennesaw State Owls.
» The Blue Raiders owns a 3-0 lead over KSU in the all-time series.
» The last time the two squads met, MTSU defeated the Owls 68-32 in Murfreesboro. Ebony Rowe led MTSU with 16 points, four rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal in the win.

» Middle Tennessee is 155-37 in conference play since joining Conference USA in 2013-14.
» MTSU is riding a 31-game win streak against CUSA opponents – The longest streak in CUSA history.
» The Blue Raiders also have a 30-game home win streak against CUSA teams that dates back to the 2020-21 season – Last loss came at the hands of a Marshall team led by Savannah Wheeler.
» MTSU has enjoyed great success on the road under Head Coach Rick Insell. The Blue Raiders are 173-91 overall on the road under Insell, for a 65 percent winning ledger, and 70-20 on the road in CUSA play
» Head Coach Rick Insell has led the Lady Raiders to 19 consecutive post-seasons. He has tallied a 473-161 record at his alma mater.
» The Blue Raiders rank 33rd nationally in Free Throw Made per game (14.6) and 49th in Free Throw Attempts per game (19.7). Gregory ranks 30th in the country, shooting 89.4 percent from the line.
» The Blue Raiders return 10 players, including three starters, from the 2023-24 squad that went 30-5 and won the CUSA regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.
» The Middle Tennessee women's basketball program will celebrate its 50th varsity season in 2024-25 and is set to honor the program's storied tradition and rich history with various initiatives throughout the year.
SCOUTING THE OWLS
» Kennesaw State enters Thursday with a 5-7 overall record and id 0-1 in CUSA play. The Owls are coming off of a pair of losses, including a 56-68 road loss to Jax State in their CUSA opener.
» Despite going 0-2 on the week, senior forward Prencis Harden was tabbed CUSA Player of the Week for logging 34 points and 15 rebounds against Mercer and 12 points and 13 rebounds and Jax State.
» Harden leads the Panthers in scoring with 16.6 points per game and rebounding (10.2).

SCOUTING THE GAMECOCKS
» Jax State enters the week with a 7-5 overall record and is 1-0 in CUSA play. The Gamecocks will play host to WKU on Thursday before hosting MTSU on Saturday.
» The Gamecocks are coming off of a 68-56 win over Kennesaw State. Senior forward Bre'Anna Rhodes led Jax State with 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting, while senior Mya Barnes recorded 15 points, eight boards and three blocks.
» Rhodes leads the Gamecocks in scoring with 9.5 points per game, while Barnes leads the team in rebounding (5.5).
