DALLAS, Texas – Middle Tennessee forward Emma Pettersen has been recognized as Conference USA's Offensive Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the conference office on Tuesday.
Pettersen made a significant impact on the team's 4-0 victory over UTEP, contributing one goal and one assist. This performance brings her total to eight goals for the season, leading the team. She has started and participated in all 17 games, logging 172 minutes of play this week.
Earlier this season, Pettersen achieved her first career brace against FIU and led the nation in shot accuracy. During the match against FIU, she showcased her skills by equalizing in the 83rd minute and scoring the game-winning goal just six minutes later.
