Maneth Fires Career Low as Middle Tennessee Climbs Leaderboard in Estero

ESTERO, Fla. – Middle Tennessee climbed four spots up the leaderboard Monday at the West Bay Collegiate Invitational after firing a 12-under-par 277 in the second round at West Bay Club. The Blue Raiders sit in sixth place at 8-under-par 569 through 36 holes.
Junior Carter Maneth led the charge with a career-low 7-under-par 65, vaulting into ninth place individually at 6-under-par 138 (73-65). Cooper Solberg continued his steady play with back-to-back rounds of 71 and is tied for 20th at 2-under-par 142.
Florida Gulf Coast leads the field at 30-under-par 546, followed by George Mason (-20), Stetson (-18), Eastern Michigan (-16) and Elon (-15).
The West Bay Collegiate Invitational concludes Tuesday, Oct. 7, with the final 18 holes.
The Lineup
• Carter Maneth recorded a career-low 7-under-par 65 in round two to move into ninth at 6-under 138 (73-65).
• Cooper Solberg carded matching rounds of 71 and is in 20th at 2-under 142.
• Connor Henry followed his opening 73 with a 1-under 71 and is tied for 35th at even-par 144.
• Oliver Baker improved by five shots in round two, firing a 2-under 70 to sit tied for 35th at even-par 144.
• Maddox Crowder rounded out the lineup at 9-over 153 (75-78), in 65th place.
