MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – After breaking the Middle Tennessee program record for the Men's 300m, Mustapha Bokpin was named the Conference USA Men's Track Athlete of the Week, announced by the league office on Dec. 9.
Middle Tennessee Track & Field competed in the Commodore Winter Challenge at Vanderbilt University on Dec. 6, where in his first race as a Blue Raider, Bokpin broke the Middle Tennessee 300m record with a mark of 33.59, surpassing the previous time of 33.96 set by Willington Wright in 2020.
Bokpin is the first Blue Raider to receive a CUSA weekly award in the 2025-26 Indoor Track & Field season and is the fourth Blue Raider to take home a weekly award, dating back to the Cross Country season.
