» This marks the 22nd meeting in series history between the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders and LA Tech Lady Techsters.

» MTSU defeated the Lady Techsters 61-43 in their first meeting of the season. Senior Anastasiia Boldyreva led the way with a 22-point, 15-rebound double-double. She also added five blocks.

» The Blue Raiders boast the Nation's No. 2 defense in terms of opponent field goal percentage – holding opponents to just 32.9 percent shooting.
» Middle Tennessee has won at least 17 games for the 23rd consecutive season. The only other NCAA DI schools with at least 17 wins in every season since 2002-03 (including this season) are Tennessee, UConn and Baylor.
» MTSU is currently holding conference opponents to 29.7% shooting from the field this season. That would be the third-lowest opposing FG% in conference play by any NCAA DI team over the last 20 seasons (2014- 15 UConn – 26.8%, 2016-17 Bethune-Cookman 28.2%).
» Boldyreva leads the Nation in blocks with 87 and blocks per game with 3.48.
» Head Coach Rick Insell has led the Lady Raiders to 19 consecutive post-seasons. He has tallied a 482-162 record at his alma mater.
» The Blue Raiders return 10 players, including three starters, from the 2023-24 squad that went 30-5 and won the CUSA regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.
» The Middle Tennessee women's basketball program will celebrate its 50th varsity season in 2024-25 and is set to honor the program's storied tradition and rich history with various initiatives throughout the year.
SCOUTING THE LADY TECHSTERS
» LA Tech enters Thursday with an 13-11 overall record and is 6-7 in CUSA play. The Lady Techsters are coming off of a pair of losses to Kennesaw State and Jax State.
» Freshman Paris Bradley leads the Lady Techsters in scoring with 13.1 Points per game, while freshman Jordan Marshall leads LA Tech in rebounds (8.3)
» Bradley has been stellar for the Lady Techsters in league play, winning five CUSA Freshman of the Week honors.

» Redshirt junior Kaila Kelley leads the team in scoring with 12.5 points per game, while redshirt junior Deborah Ogayemi leads the team in rebounding (7.5).
