Brian Kiptoo takes home CUSA ITF Men’s Track Performer of the Meet

Kiptoo wins award after being the highest point scorer at the meet
LYNCHBURG, Va. – After his outstanding performance at the Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championship, Brian Kiptoo has been named the 2025 Men's Track Performer of the Meet.
Brian Kiptoo was awarded the Men's High Point Scorer of the Meet after recorded 22 points for the Blue Raiders. His 22 points were the most anyone recorded in the meet, including both men's and women's track and field student-athletes.
The junior recorded great performances in multiple events that was headlined by him winning the mile race. Kiptoo set a new personal record in the race with a time of 4:04.08 to take home the gold.
The Eldoret, Kenya native also podiumed in the Men's 3000m race, finishing in second place in the race. Kiptoo recorded a time of 8:11.29.
The final event in which Kiptoo took part in was the Men's 5000m race. The junior ran for a time of 14:23.11 which earned him fifth place in the event.
