HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – No. 2 seed Middle Tennessee will take on seventh Kennesaw State in the Quarterfinals of the Conference USA Basketball Tournament on Wednesday, Mar. 12. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT. The game will air on the Blue Raider Network and broadcast on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY
» This marks the sixth meeting in series history between the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders and Kennesaw State Owls.
» The Blue Raiders owns a 5-0 lead over Kennesaw State in the all-time series.
» MTSU defeated Kennesaw State 76-43 in their second meeting of the season. Junior Ta'Mia Scott led the way with 24 points, eight rebounds, an assist and a block, while three other Blue Raiders logged double figures.

» The Blue Raiders boast the No. 1 Defense in the Nation. MTSU is holding opponents to just 51.2 points per game on 32.4 percent shooting.
» This year's graduating class will go down as the winningest four-year class in program history with 109 wins and counting.
» Senior Anastasiia Boldyreva leads the league and ranks first in the Nation in blocks with 117 and blocks per game with 3.77.
» Middle Tennessee has won at least 17 games for the 23rd consecutive season. The only other NCAA DI schools with at least 17 wins in every season since 2002-03 (including this season) are Tennessee, UConn and Baylor.
» MTSU also owns CUSA's best all-time defense, holding conference opponents to just 46.2 points per game on 30 percent shooting. That would be the third-lowest opposing field goal percentage in conference play by any NCAA DI team over the last 20 seasons (2014-15 UConn – 26.8%, 2016-17 Bethune-Cookman 28.2%).
» Head Coach Rick Insell has led the Blue Raiders to 19 consecutive post-seasons. He has tallied a 487-163 record at his alma mater.
» The Middle Tennessee women's basketball program will celebrate its 50th varsity season in 2024-25 and is set to honor the program's storied tradition and rich history with various initiatives throughout the year.

» Kennesaw State enters Wednesday with a 13-17 overall record and is 7-11 in CUSA play. The Owls are coming off of a 71-63 win over UTEP in the First Round of the CUSA Tournament
» Senior Prencis Harden leads the Owls in scoring with 15.6 points per game and rebounds (10.3)
» KSU Associate Head Coach Keisha McClinic enjoyed a stellar career at Middle Tennessee State where she was the 2004 Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year and led the Blue Raiders to consecutive conference crowns in 2004-05. She graduated with the most games played (120) in program history at the time and is currenlty ranked sixth in career steals with 246.
