Rostislav Halfinger and Jakub Kroslak fought hard for Middle Tennessee after falling behind early but forced a seven-point tiebreaker against Sam Reeve and Harry Rock. Ultimately, the Tigers won 7-6 to take the doubles point.
In singles, Berranger earned the first win for the Blue Raiders, taking down Vizoso in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4, to tie the match at 1-1. Memphis reclaimed the lead with a victory on Court 1.
