MARIETTA, Ga. — Middle Tennessee was unable to generate offense in the final game of its series, falling 10-0 in seven innings Saturday afternoon at Walter Kelly Field.

Kenny McKinley led the Blue Raiders at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a double, while Cooper Clapp also collected two hits. Keaton Ray added a single and a stolen base, but the team left six runners on base and hit into one double play.

Starter Jack Fortner took the loss after surrendering five runs on seven hits in just 2.2 innings. The bullpen combined to allow five more runs across 4.1 innings, as six different pitchers saw action.

The Blue Raiders' pitching staff struggled to contain a relentless the Owls, giving up 15 hits and allowing scoring in five of the seven innings. Defensively, Middle Tennessee was clean with no errors but could not slow down the offensive output on the other side.

With the defeat, Middle Tennessee closes out the 2025 season and will look forward to February of 2026.
