Middle Tennessee Hits the Road to Face Evansville

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee (4-3-2) will travel to Evansville (4-1-1) on Sunday, Sept. 14, for a 4 p.m. CT kickoff at Arad McCutchan Stadium. The match will stream live on ESPN+.
History vs. Evansville
The Blue Raiders lead the all-time series 5-2, including a 3-0 record in Evansville. The last meeting came on Aug. 29, 2021, in Murfreesboro, where MTSU dropped a 3-2 decision in overtime.
About Middle Tennessee
Emma Pettersen ranks first nationally in shot accuracy, converting 15 of her 18 attempts on target, while Taijah Fraser ranks eighth in game-winning goals.
Pettersen netted her third goal of the season in the 56th minute against Tennessee Tech, scoring the equalizer off assists from Hannah Delaney and Fraser.
Junior defender Sadie Sterbenz scored her first goal of the season against Tennessee Tech.
About Evansville
Head Coach Chris Pfau is in his ninth season at the helm, holding a 48-54-35 record with the Purple Aces and a career mark of 97-143-55 over 18 seasons.
Earlier this season, Evansville earned a 2-1 comeback win over Purdue.
