Blue Raiders tally another top-five finish at Texas Golf Throwdown

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Middle Tennessee women's golf program earned its fourth top-five team finish of the season at the Texas Golf Throwdown this week at The Woodlands Country Club. The team shot a 913 overall, with its best round coming on the final day at 297 (+9).
Isabella Johnson led the way for the team once again, earning fourth place at 216 (+2). The sophomore, who has continued to shine for the team, tallied two more rounds at par or better this week in a 70 (-2) first round and 72 (E) final round. With 12 on the season, she has tied for first in single season program history with three more tournaments left to play.
Ella Manley finished second for the team at 30th. She shot her best round on Tuesday with a one-over-par 73 to finish at 233 (+17). Jillian Bowman was just one stroke behind her in 32nd, shooting 234 (+18). The junior remained consistent throughout the tournament, shooting an opening round of 76 followed up by two at 79.
Caroline Pardue and Nicole Johnson closed out the lineup for the Blue Raiders, placing 40th and 50th, respectively. Pardue tallied rounds at 76, 79 and 81 to card a 236 (+20), while Johnson was at 81, 84 and 73 to turn in a 238 (+22).
Brylee Crouse completed her first tournament of the spring as an individual in 77th, shooting rounds at 88, 85 and 84 to finish at 250 (+41).
