Maneth named CUSA Golfer of the Week

DALLAS – Middle Tennessee's Carter Maneth has been named Conference USA Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.
A redshirt senior from Texarkana, Arkansas, Maneth earned the honor - his second of the season - after leading the Blue Raiders with a second-place finish at 12-under-par at the Louisiana Classics, posting rounds of 70, 66 and 68.
Maneth's final-round 68 helped anchor Middle Tennessee's charge up the leaderboard as the Blue Raiders fired a 10-under-par 278 in the final round, the best round of the day, to surge into a third-place finish out of 16 teams. Middle Tennessee closed the tournament with rounds of 285-285-278 for an 848 total.
Maneth continues his strong season with 10 rounds of par or better, including seven rounds in the 60s.
