Softball's CUSA opener postponed due to inclement weather

KENNESAW, Ga. – Middle Tennessee Softball's Conference USA competition against Kennesaw State has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game was suspended at the top of the fourth inning with Kennesaw State holding a 1-0 lead.
The Blue Raiders had registered two hits before weather stopped the game; Macie Harter driving a leadoff double to start the first inning and Kennedy Chatman knocking a single in the top of the second. Braelyn Hall was in the circle for Middle Tennessee, having struck out two batters before play was suspended.
Up Next
Today's game will be resumed tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. CT as part of a double header. The second game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.
