Four named to College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Teams

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Softball saw four Blue Raiders named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators' (CSC) Academic All-District Softball Teams, announced by the organization on Tuesday, May 26.
Ansley Blevins, Lexi Medlock, Halle Klaiber and Onnika Spencer were the four Blue Raiders named CSC Academic All-District. The 2026 Academic All-District Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, honor the nation's top student-athletes for outstanding athletic and academic achievement, reflecting their commitment to excellence on and off the field.
Ansley Blevins, a communication major from Jasper, Tenn., finished the season batting .277 and hit a tied team-high 11 home runs. The senior started 50 of Middle Tennessee's 51 total games and maintained a 3.796 cumulative GPA. Blevins was awarded both CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Academic Medal List honors.
Halle Klaiber recorded 46.0 innings pitched for the Blue Raiders in 19 appearances, totaling four wins on the season. The sophomore psychology major held a 3.6 cumulative GPA and was named to the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Lexi Medlock, an education major from Murfreesboro, Tenn., batted .248 and knocked 18 total extra base hits on the season. The senior started all 51 games in center field for the Blue Raiders and maintained a 3.901 cumulative GPA. Medlock was awarded both CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Academic Medal List honors.
Onnika Spencer recorded a batting average of .309 and a team high 11 home runs for the Blue Raiders across her 48 starts for Middle Tennessee. Spencer majored in public health with a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
