MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Head Coach Jeff Breeden has named Estelle Czech as the next Assistant Coach of Middle Tennessee Softball.
"I am extremely happy to announce the hiring of Estelle Czech as our new pitching coach," stated Breeden. "She is bringing a championship mindset and Texas Longhorn winning culture to the 'Boro. She has pitched and won at the highest levels of our sport. I look forward to watching her interact with our young staff and seeing her pitchers improve."
Last season, Czech served as an assistant coach at Staley High School in addition to leading pitching lessons over the past seven years.
Prior to joining Staley High School, Czech had a prolific career as a player. Most recently, Czech competed with Florida Vibe Professional Softball during the summer of 2025 and with Atlanta Smoke Professional Softball during the summer of 2024.
Before she competed professionally, Czech was a pitcher at the University of Texas Austin. During her time at Texas, she was named both Big 12 Pitcher of the Week and NFCA D1 Pitcher of the Week during the 2024 season. Czech also has experience pitching in the NCAA Women's College World Series, where she was named to the All-Tournament Team during the 2022 season. Czech spent a season at North Carolina State University preceding her time at Texas.
"This hire is a home run for our program," said Breeden. "Welcome Estelle to the 'Boro!"
Czech earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas, studying Kinesiology and Health.
