Volleyball Hosting Blue Raider Bash in Opening Home Weekend

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team opens at home Friday through Saturday, hosting the Blue Raider Bash at the Alumni Memorial Gym.
MTSU (4-2) is heading into the tournament after winning two-of-three in its first two weekends of the year. The Blue Raiders return home for the first time since a 3-0 loss to Missouri State Nov. 15, 2025.
Middle Tennessee opens the weekend versus Georgia State (1-4) Friday at 12:30 p.m. before a nightcap with Northern Colorado (1-5) at 7:30 p.m.
The Blue Raiders then take on Murray State at 3 p.m. Saturday to close the tournament.

Georgia State comes into Murfreesboro with momentum after sweeping West Georgia to close their last weekend. Jorge Martinez in his first season leading the Panthers, he is 2-4 to begin his time.
Murray State comes into the Blue Raider Bash 1-5 after losing two of three last time out. The Racers are under new direction, with Tristyn Krzos leading the program.
