Blue Raiders through opening round at Mason Rudolph Championship

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's golf completed its first round of the season at the 2026 Mason Rudolph Championship Friday. The round at Vanderbilt Legends Club saw the program shoot a 15-over 299 to sit 14th overall.
Days after being named captain of the squad, Ella Manley fired off her first round below par of the season, tallying three birdies en route to a 70 (-1). The senior is tied for 12th as one of just 19 golfers under par on the day.
Jayla Kucy made her Blue Raider debut at the South Course, finishing the day with a round at four-over-par. Kucy is T57 as she looks to continue her MTSU debut Saturday.
Jinger Heath and Sara Burger rounded out the Blue Raider countable rounds with a pair of 6-over 77s. The duo sits tied for 69th on the player leaderboard.
Brylee Crouse turned in two birdies and a 79 (+8) in her first round of her junior season Friday, tying for 81st.
MTSU will continue competition Saturday, beginning at 10:03 and teeing off from hole 10.
