Middle Tennessee Baseball announces Fall Ball schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- Middle Tennessee baseball will play three Fall Ball exhibition matchups across the fall season, including one matchup inside the friendly confines of Reese Smith Jr. Field.
The Blue Raiders will open their fall slate with a neutral site game, taking on North Alabama on Friday, Oct. 2. The game is slated for a 5:30 p.m. first pitch from Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama, the home of the Double-A Rocket City Trash Pandas.
Later that weekend on Sunday, Oct. 4, Middle Tennessee will return home to host in-state rival Tennessee Tech at The Reese. A first pitch time will be announced at a later date, to pair with free admission to see the Blue Raiders play.
Middle Tennessee's fall slate will wrap up with a day trip to Cookeville for a rematch with Tennessee Tech. The game is set for Sunday, Oct. 18. First pitch time will be announced at a later date.
The fall ball matchups will be the first opportunity for 18 newcomers to take the field for the Blue Raiders to compete against outside competition.
