CHICAGO, Ill. – The Middle Tennessee women's cross country team placed in fifth, while the men's team finished sixth at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational

The women's team had a team score of 157points, while the men's team had a team score of 168 points.

Evalyne Wambui led the Blue Raiders on the women's side, crossing the finish line second with a time of 19:05.35. Elizabeth Magoma followed with a seventh-place finish in 19:38.98. Gladys Muriithi with her debut appearance placed 37^th in 20:10.67.

Privillege Chikara finished 44^th in 20:14.03, Odilia Jepchumba placed 69^th in 20:31.60. Viviana Salonia finished 133^rd in 21:47.27, followed by Eleanor Towe in 135^th place with a time of 21:54.53

On the men's side Allan Kiplagat also led the Blue Raiders, crossing the finish line in fourth with a time of 22:51.30. Gabe Allen placed 22^nd in 23:18.36, followed by Solomon Sayo in 26^th at 23:20.41. Moses Lekokei finished 53^rd in 23:37.02.
Edger Ngibe with his debut appearance placed 63^rd in 23:42.87. Kelvin Tanui finished at 108^th in 24:14.73 and Juan Lucas De La Funete finished at 130^th in 24:50.26
