Excerpt from Feb. 4, 2022 press release regarding the Murphy Center glass replacement:
The University, as part of the Build Blue campaign, is replacing all of the antiquated glass with a more modern system. The new Sage Glass system will offer a better appearance while providing automatic dimming for glare control. It will allow the benefits of natural light without aesthetic limitations of blinds, shades or curtains.

Design of the Student Athlete Performance Center is done by GMC+HOK.
Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) is one of the largest architecture and engineering firms in the Southeast, with offices located throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina and Tennessee.
HOK is a global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm with 1,600 people collaborating across a network of 24 offices on three continents.
GMC and @HOKNetwork were chosen by @MTSU to design the new @MTAthletics Student-Athlete Performance Center, the first of a three-phase, $100-million-plus plan to enhance the school’s athletic facilities.
