Middle Tennessee (2018-Present)
Blake Hunt was announced as the new hitting coach for Middle Tennessee on July 19, 2018.
Liberty (2015-2018)
Hunt served as an assistant coach at Liberty where he worked with catchers, hitters, and was responsible for field maintenance. During games, Hunt was the team’s first base coach.
Spalding (2014)
Hunt was a volunteer assistant for one season at Spalding University. He was the Golden Eagle’s hitting coach and worked with the team’s catchers. He also served as the third base coach.
Charleston Southern (2013)
Hunt began his coaching career at his alma mater Charleston Southern as a student assistant in 2013. He helped coach the infielders and hitters.
As a player (2008-2012)
Hunt played four seasons for Charleston Southern. In his career, Hunt played in 107 games. As a senior in 2012, Hunt finished the season hitting .289 and .327 in Big South Conference Play.
Education
Hunt graduated from Charleston Southern with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
