Draft: Selected in the 18th round, 546th overall, by the San Francisco Giants in the 2015 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
2015 (Junior): Made 21 appearances on the mound with 6 starts as a senior … Went 2-8 with a 7.99 ERA, striking out 34 batters in 47.1 innings … Went five innings in three of his six starts … Earned a win with a five inning start against Western Illinois (2/23) … Struck out five in five innings in start at Memphis (3/10) … Allowed only two earned runs in 11.2 consecutive innings through seven appearances from April 17 to May 12, lowering ERA by over two and a half points across that stretch.
2014 (Sophomore): 2014 Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Made 21 appearances as a reliever, recording a 5.97 ERA with a 2-1 record and two saves … Struck out 21 and walked 19 with 21 earned runs allowed on 35 hits in 31.2 innings pitched … Picked up first win at Kennesaw State (Feb. 15) with two earned runs allowed on two hits in an inning of work … Did not allow a run in four appearances (Feb. 23 – March 5) … Picked up his second win in a short outing versus Charlotte ( March 14), fanning three batters and giving up a run in 1.2 innings … Collected first collegiate save versus Lipscomb with a one inning hitless effort on March 25 … Picked up his second save with three scoreless innings versus Memphis (April 1).

2013 (Freshman): Was named the preseason No. 1 SBC newcomer in his first year out of high school … The freshman two-way player made 15 appearances on the mound, including two starts and finished with a 6.55 ERA, two wins and 19 strikeouts in 22 innings … Made eight appearances in the field, finishing with a .308 OBP, two RBI and three runs scored … Struck out a career-best four batters in 2.2 innings and picked up his first career victory vs. Tennessee Tech (April 9) ... Voted 17th best prospect in Great Lakes League after stint with the Lake Erie Monarchs.
