- Had two appearances against UAB on March 14 and 16 where he didn't allow an earned run. He combined for 4.1 innings, with two hits and three strikeouts

- He earned his first win at MTSU on April 13 vs. NM State with an inning out of the bullpen
- He went 2.2 innings on May 4 vs. Binghamton, without allowing a run
- The final outing of his season came vs. Dallas Baptist on May 18th where he threw 1.1 innings of no run baseball
- Ranked Preseason No. 14 MVC Draft Prospect by Perfect Game and No. 17 by D1Baseball

- Came up with his first collegiate strikeout on March 23 at Tennessee Tech
- Collected his first collegiate start on March 30 against UT Martin, coming up with three strikeouts in two innings-pitched
- Threw in four innings in two consecutive starts on April 21 at Lipscomb and April 27 against Tennessee Tech, striking out a season-high four batters against Lipscomb in addition to picking up his first collegiate win
- Tossed a season-high 4.1 innings in his homecoming game on May 18 at No. 4 Tennessee, coming up with a pair of strikeouts.
- Played for head coach Jonathan Byrd at Grace Christian Academy in Knoxville, Tenn.
- Named team captain
- All-District player who snagged Newcomer of the Year honors
- Pitched a complete game in his sophomore season, helping his team to a state tournament appearance in the process
- Held a 1.30 ERA with 81 strikeouts in 50 innings pitched in his junior season
