Brent Dearmon, a former player and coach at nearby Bethel College, is in his first season as a member of Rick Stockstill’s coaching staff. Dearmon serves as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

At Middle Tennessee, offensive coordinator/quarterbacks, 2021-present

At Kansas, offensive coordinator/quarterbacks and senior offensive consultant, 2019-20
• Joined Les Miles staff in January 2019 as a senior offensive consultant
• Mid-way through the 2019, Dearmon took over as the programs offensive coordinator and led the team to a 24.1 scoring average and more than 400 yards of total offense per game
• His Jayhawk offense churned out 569 yards of offense at Texas then followed up with 527 yards of offense in a win over Texas Tech
• Started seven true freshmen and the youngest quarterback in the country in 2020
At Bethel College, head coach, 2018
• In his one season as head coach, Dearmon guided Bethel to their best season in school history.
• BU posted a 10-0 regular season mark and a No. 3 ranking, while averaging 540.3 yards and the second-best scoring average in the country at 55.0 points per game
• Named Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year
At Arkansas Tech, offensive coordinator, 2015-17
• In 2014, the Wonder Boys produced the biggest offensive turnaround in college football, including a 360% increase in rushing yards from the previous season
• Tech’s offense was the second-rated offense in the Great American Conference (GAC) in 2014, racking up 36.5 points and 458.8 yards per game
• During the 2017 season at Tech, Dearmon’s offense racked up 40 points per game which was tops in the GAC
• Dearmon had a quarterback make the all-conference team in each of his three seasons at Arkansas Tech
• In 2017, he mentored quarterback, Ty Reasnor, who was named a DII Academic All-American
At Auburn, running backs analyst and wide receivers analyst (2013-14)
• He served as a running backs analyst in 2013 and a wide receivers analyst in 2014 under Gus Malzahn
• While at Auburn, the Tigers posted a combined 20-7 record, including an 11-5 mark in SEC play
• The 2013 Tigers captured the SEC title en route to an appearance in the BCS National Championship Game
• Dearmon was at Auburn during “The Miracle in Jordan-Hare” Hail Mary play versus Georgia and the “Kick Six” Field Goal return touchdown versus Alabama
