Candra Howell, a member of Rick Stockstill’s staff since August 2015, begins her second year as a graduate assistant for recruiting operations.
Along with having oversight of the football recruiting office, Howell heads up the Raider Ambassadors and the entire student recruitment program. She also assists in all correspondence with prospects, including social media while helping with all on-campus recruiting events and activities.
Howell also assists the Director of Football Operations with football clinics, summer camps, and all administrative aspects surrounding the football program.
A 2012 graduate of Tennessee with a degree in public relations, Howell is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in leisure and sport management.
A native of Knoxville, TN, Howell began her career in athletics as a student athletic recruiter for the Vols in 2009. She moved over to the football recruiting office in January 2012 as a recruiting specialist before becoming a recruiting operations intern in June 2013.
Howell is a graduate of West High School, where she was a four-year member of the varsity dance team.
