Kendall Simmons, a former Auburn great and eight-year NFL veteran, is in his second season as a member of Derek Mason’s coaching staff. Simmons has the title of offensive line coach.
COACHING HIGHLIGHTS:
At Middle Tennessee, offensive line, 2024-present
• Date Hired: Dec. 11, 2023
• Despite dealing with numerous injuries that led to nine different starting lineups in 12 games (led nation), the unit helped produce a 3,000-yard passer and two first team all-conference receivers
• Produced 2024 Freshman All-American Zach Clayton (PFF College All-Freshman and CollegeFootballNetwork.com Honorable Mention)
At Auburn, offensive analyst/offensive line, 2019-23
• Served on staffs of Gus Malzahn, Bryan Harsin and Hugh Freeze at Auburn
• Elevated to the offensive line coach in 2022 for the final four games when Will Friend became the offensive coordinator
