Bio
2003: Played in eight games and earned one start (vs Georgia) ... Ended the year with three catches for 12 yards while also gaining 17 rushing yards ... Registered one reception each against FAU, Georgia and NMSU ... Missed the final four games of the year due to an injury.
2002: Played in just two games (Kentucky and North Texas) ... Missed four of the team's first five games with a knee sprain ... Did not catch a pass.
2001: Played in 10 of 11 games ... Finished the year with three receptions for 88 yards and a 29.3-yard per catch average ... Hauled in two passes for 80 yards in a win over Troy State, including a career long 69-yard catch ... Also registered one reception for eight yards against New Mexico State ... Also played on special teams.
2000: Was enrolled in school and practiced with the team but did not compete in any games due to academic requirements ... Went through 2001 spring drills.
High School: Registered 60 tackles, 12 pass breakups, and one interception as a senior ... In fact, only two balls were caught on Joyner's side of the field in 1999 ... Also tallied eight receptions for 237 yards and four touchdowns in a limited role as a receiver ...
