Honors: 2012 Voted by his teammates as one of five permanent team captains & Voted First Team All-SBC & Named Second Team All-SBC by CollegeSportsMadness.com & Named Most Improved Offensive Lineman at the conclusion of spring drills.
2012: Started all 12 games at center & Third among linemen with 844 total snaps & Part of a line that ranked second nationally in fewest sacks allowed and paved the way for three different 100-yard rushers & Collected 78 knockdowns, including a season-high 10 against Memphis and WKU & Did not given up a sack all season & Made the move to center from guard during spring practice & Had 77 snaps at Memphis and turned in a career-best 85 at FIU & In on 76 snaps at Mississippi State & Played all 70 snaps at WKU and all 71 against Troy & Credited with 77 plays at USA
