Indoor: Represented the Blue Raiders in the shot put and the weighted throw in the indoor season…opened his collegiate career at the KMS Invitational (1/28) throwing a season-best distance of 14.75 meters in the wighted throw to finish in ninth place while placing fourth in the shot put event (16.09m, 4th)…claimed a first place finish at the MTSU Invitational on Feb. 3 in the shot put event (17.06m)…rounded off the indoor season at the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championship on Feb. 17, competing in the shot put (15.12m, 10th).
Outdoor: First-Team All-Conference Honoree (Shot Put)…opened the outdoor season at the Yellow Jacket Invitational (3/16), claiming a first-place victory in the shot put with a distance of 18.16m…inked a season-best throw (37.72m, 17th) at the 2018 Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invitational (3/30) while posting a second place finish in the shot put (18.06m)…notched a third-place finish a season-best 18.72m in the shot put at the War Eagle Invitational (4/20)…claimed the champion title at the Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championship (5/10) in the shot put with a distance of 18.57m…earned a spot at the NCAA Outdoor East Regional in the shot put, placing 17th overall (18.35m).
