Jayce Standridge joined the Blue Raider athletic department in November 2021 as a freshman student manager for the baseball team. As a sophomore, he earned an internship as the Social Media Assistant for baseball, which sparked his passion for digital media in college athletics. The following year in 2023, he joined the athletic communications office as an SID assistant, balancing his responsibilities while pursuing a full course load.
Entering his senior year at Middle Tennessee, Standridge was promoted to the primary media contact for baseball and cross country, while also serving as the secondary contact for men’s basketball. On football game days, he also manages social media coverage for the Blue Raider football program. After graduating from MTSU in December 2024, he continued his work in a post-graduate role with the athletic department.
A Chattanooga, Tennessee native, Standridge brings three years of valuable minor league baseball experience, having worked in marketing and promotions with both the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, and the Nashville Sounds, the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. During his time with these organizations, he was actively involved in executing in-game promotions, managing fan engagement initiatives, and assisting with on-field entertainment. He also supported community outreach events and collaborated with front office staff on theme nights, social media content, and sponsor activations. These roles provided him with a strong foundation in sports marketing and a deeper understanding of the fan experience at the professional level.
