Middle Tennessee Adds Transfers Aryan Saleh, Asier Ayllon Prado

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee announced Tuesday that they has added two transfers Aryan Saleh from Old Dominion and Asier Ayllon Prado from uindy.
Saleh, from Eschborn, Germany. In the 2025-26 season, he earned Second Team All-Conference for singles play and Sun Belt Conference Singles Player of the Week on Feb. 4. He recorded a 20-6 singles record between courts five and six, including 17-2 in the spring. He went 5-4 overall in doubles play with Piet Steveker and Thomas Nelson as well as 1-1 in the spring… Accounted for a 10-match winning streak in singles.
Continuing his success into the 2024-25 season, Saleh received CSC Academic All-District Honors. He finished his sophomore season 19-11 in singles overall, going 6-5 at #6 and 5-2 at #5. In doubles, he went 6-6 overall, including 2-0 at #3, 0-1 at #2, and 1-0 at #1. Notably, he had a seven-game winning streak to end the fall season and start the spring season, defeating No. 53 Purdue, Virginia Tech, and Radford. He won 6-1 and 6-1 in singles against No. 75 Georgia Southern to help win ODU's third straight Sun Belt Championship.
Prado, from Getafe, Spain, was honored as the 2026 GLVC Player of the Year, a testament to his competitive spirit and excellence. He surged to a 22-5 record in the top singles position, showcasing his reliability and skill. Prado also impressed in doubles, tallying a 12-5 record this season and earning a coveted top-50 ranking with partner Mathieu Derache.
Reflecting on his freshman year, he was crowned GLVC Freshman of the Year after a standout first season. He earned First-Team All-GLVC honors after posting a 20-2 singles record, including an unblemished 6-0 mark in GLVC play. He finished the 2025 campaign with a singles ranking of #17 in the Midwest Region, having initially debuted at #4 singles in the Greyhound lineup before quickly working up to the #2 slot. He ended the season on a 16-match win streak and posted a 12-11 record in doubles competition.
