Cassie Hodgson begins her second season at Middle Tennessee after joining the Sports Medicine staff in September, 2016.
She previously worked at Maine Maritime Academy, where she served as a certified athletic trainer and helped oversee more than 200 NCAA student-athletes.
Hodgson works directly with the women's basketball at Middle Tennessee, as well as supervising the athletic training graduate assistants.
Other responsibilities include education of graduate and undergraduate athletic training curriculum in the classroom and training room, in addition to supply ordering and other administrative duties.
In addition to her time at Maine Maritime Academy, Hodgson also worked as an athletic trainer at Colby-Sawyer College. She also served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Georgia, and she also did an internship with the United State Naval Academy.
Hodgson earned Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Maine, and she earned her Master’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Georgia.
Hodgson is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and she is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, AHA Healthcare Provider (CPR/AED), Maine State Athletic Trainer Licensure, and she has NSCA CSCS Certification.
