Thiesen Has 20 Kills in Lady Raider Loss

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Middle Tennessee volleyball (16-12, 7-5 SBC) fell 3-2 (25-30, 30-27, 24-30, 30-23, 8-15) to Sun Belt foe Arkansas-Little Rock (12-11, 8-4 SBC) Friday at Trojan Fieldhouse.
Senior Katie Thiesen who had a season high 20 kills and .297-attack percentage with 37 attacks and nine errors led the Lady Raiders. She also had on service ace.
Keke Deckard registered her 19th double-double of the season with 17 kills and 11 digs. Senior setter Kelly Quinn took most of the setting duties in the match and dished out 51 assists.
The Lady Raiders have already clinched a berth in the Sun Belt Tournament, held in Miami, FL on November 21-23, with a 3-2 win over Arkansas State on Wednesday. Middle Tennessee will travel to Bowling Green, KY to take on Western Kentucky at 7 p.m. Tuesday November 12.
