George Competes at Carifta Games

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee's Kishara George finished second in the 400m and eighth in the 200m this past weekend at the Carifta Games in Nassau, Bahamas, as George represented her native Grenada in the youth games event.
George ran a team-best 24.12 in the 200m preliminaries before finishing eighth in the event finals in 24.96. She was came in second in the 400m finals in 54.87.
The Carifta Games are youth games for the Caribbean Islands. This year's meet took place at Thomas Robinson Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas.
A dozen Middle Tennessee athletes will compete in the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas, on April 4-7, with the rest of the Blue Raider and Lady Raider squads taking part in Saturday's Yellowjacket Invitational in Atlanta, Ga.
