Lady Raiders Down Tennessee Tech 3-2

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee volleyball (10-16) reached double-digit wins for the season with a 3-2 (16-30, 3-28, 28-30, 30-21, 15-11) victory over Tennessee Tech (9-14) Tuesday in Alumni Memorial Gym.
The Lady Raiders started the match slow, as the team hit a negative .067 in game one and had 13 errors as opposed to Tennessee Tech's three. Middle Tennessee stormed back in game two to tie it up at halftime and then took game three to go up 2-1. Tennessee Tech sent it to five games with a 30-21 win, but the Lady Raiders jumped out in gave five and never relinquished the lead.
Karisse Baker and KeKe Deckard each recorded 15 kills to lead the Lady Raiders and Deckard had another double-double night as she also had 12 digs. Kimberly Moeller recorded a strong night defensively as she led the team in digs with 16 and Goldie Bilyeu had a season-high 45 assists.
Tennessee Tech's Laura Sidorwicz led all scorers in the match as she recorded 24 kills and also had 25 digs.
Middle Tennessee returns to the road for more Sun Belt action on Sunday November 2 when the Lady Raiders travel to Miami to take on Florida International.
